This is what I grew up with in answer to a sneeze. How nice to know a good wish is always in keeping, regardless of the occasion.

Wishing you well, in good health!

Now, I make great knishes, being a professional chef it’s expected. I use phyllo dough for the pastry, and some of my counterparts use puffed pastry. They are goyim who insist they are correct. So I’ve come to you to cast the deciding vote. How about making knishes on your website?

Shana Tovah!

As for the discussion on puffed vs. phyllo I am with you. Phyllo is the winner.

it is soooo delicious and easy!

July 2nd, 2008 · No Comments · Emails

I watched the Tzimmis video, then printed out the recipe, went grocery shopping, and cooked it up (first time ever) last night….it is soooo delicious and easy!

Thank you for sharing. I cannot wait to try out more of these recipes!

Have a happy and sweet New Year 5768.

I am so glad to hear this. When I sit with Avrom going over the recipes and I think that they are all done, Avrom always adds in an extra suggestion to make it even easier, some things that I don’t even think of.

It makes me very happy to see my goal of making the directions as easy as possible so that you can just show up to store, and be able to confidently make the recipe.

We have a new video that we just put up today, it is a chicken schnitzel. We hope you can take a look at it on the front page of feedmebubbe.com

I saw one podcast and was hooked. I am so busy and am sorry to say it took quite awhile till I got to see your second broadcast which was today.

I wish I could watch everyday. I tried to write to you after the first Podcast to tell you that I wish I had tons of money so I could support you.

My parents have past away in the last couple of years and I miss them so much. I am so glad that you and your Grandson can share things together. He is young and bright to have come up with this idea.

Keep on sharing and people will keep on watching.

Take care and wishing you good health.

I am 8 years old and would like you to do a meal I could make with her.

June 29th, 2008 · No Comments · Uncategorized

My name is Alex XXXXXXXXXXX and my Busia (Polish for Grandmother) and I LOVE Your show!!! I am 8 years old and would like you to do a meal I could make with her. Something easy, please. I love learning the Yiddish words. because she worked for Jewish people and her Aunt was half Jewish, she knows a few words. She taught me “meshugge’. That’s funny.

We enjoyed the fruit salad, thanks for the recipe. Busia helped with spelling. Take care of yourself, Bubbe. say hello to your grandson from this grandson. Your friend Alex. what’s the yiddish word for friend?

Your email is a delight.to read.

Avrom and I worked the whole day today updating the recipes so that they will be easily understood by especially young people so that they can keep the familiarity of traditional recipes and tastes ongoing.

We are very proud of you for a young man of your age to take the lead in your school to familiarize your peers who probably are not as familiar to the Yiddish culture as you are.

It is a mitzvah.

We want to wish you and your family a healthy and joyous Shavuos.

BRAVO !!! HOW I HAVE COME TO LOVE YOUR VIDEOS. I AM A GRADUATE OF THE CULINARY INSTITUTE OF AMERICA, AND WAS A ROOMATE OF JEWISH NON-KOSHER STUDENT. I LEARNED MUCH ,BUT NOT ENOUGH. AND YOU ARE FILLING THAT VOID. MY SUGGESTION IS THIS: I KNOW YOU ARE FAT CONSCIOUS , AND I RESPECT THAT , BUT I KNOW OF THE SMALTZ AND WONDER HOW IT IS TRADITIONALY RENEDERED . ALSO A TRADITIONAL SEDER , HOW TO MAKE THE APLLE -WALNUT MIX, ETC.

I TOO AGREE THE EARLY MUSIC WAS A BIT TOO LOUD TO HEAR DEAR BUBBE, GLAD IT IS LOWER.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AVRON , AND OF COURSE APPLAUSE ALL AROUND TO BUBBE.
A THOUGHT: RE/ RELIGIONS, i ALWAYS TELL FOLKS WE ARE ALL GOING TO THE SAME PARTY, JUST TAKING DIFFERENT ROADS.
